Campaspe Shire is located in Victoria’s Loddon Mallee Region, 208km north of Melbourne. Townships and small settlements in Campaspe Shire include: Echuca, Kyabram, Rochester and Tongala amongst others. The estimated population is 36,814.

Murray River Council is located along the southern border of New South Wales, with an estimated population of 11,500 and approximately 53% of the population residing in Moama. The Council was formed in 2016 following the amalgamation of the Murray Shire and Wakool Shire.
