CtD Newsletter: V2

As the next editor of our Docs Connect newsletter, we would like to thank everyone in our community who has been part of some of our great initiatives over the past quarter. Our key activities have been fabulous and so well received. Some key exciting development has been:

Updated Website: In a ground breaking move aimed at further strengthening the attraction of new candidates and fostering career growth, a new website has been launched, promising to be a central hub for health care professionals and community members a like. This dynamic platform introduces several key features that are set to make a lasting impact. Our results of increased traffic has been astonishing as we continue to promote our collaborative and partnership model.

A New Job Directory: One of the standout elements of the new site is a comprehensive job directory, offering healthcare professionals access to fresh career opportunities tailored to their unique skills and aspirations.

Strengthening Partnerships: The website showcases the organisation’s commitment to collaboration, highlighting the many ways it partners with health services to create meaningful, lasting change. It also has a key focus on the towns that we are based in, and provides an overview of what is on offer within these towns.

Social Media Strength: We have made a conscious effort to increase our social media presence, and with this, we have posted on our Instagram , Facebook and LinkedIn Pages, while also participating in several specialist and medical groups, in a greater step to attract local and international candidates

Medical Health Ambassadors: Visitors will be inspired by the personal stories shared by Medical Health Ambassadors .These individuals have courageously opened up about their experiences, shining a light on the heart of the Connection the Docs Mission, Purpose and Strategy. More information is going to be launched in the new year; and we can’t wait.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Connecting the Docs has even more developments on the horizon, with fresh video content and new materials slated for release next year. This move underscores a commitment to continuous improvement and engagement with the community; a new chapter to our strategy and new focus to change the way we recruit in the Loddon Mallee Region.

For those eager to explore the new website and all it has to offer, the invitation is open. Take a moment to see how these changes could impact you and your career. Share our site with your connections or apply directly to us. While we close off this edition, I would like to wish you all an amazing holiday season, a fantastic 2025 and look forward to coming back in the new year with a stronger Connecting the Docs.

Regards, Dr Annemarie Newth
