Welcome to Edition One of Docs Connect
As one of the founding members of Connecting the Docs, I am thrilled to unveil the launch of our very first newsletter—a beacon for medical professionals seeking not only a career but a lifestyle transformation.
Nestled in the heart of Victoria’s breathtaking Loddon Mallee Region, Connecting the Docs is more than a program; it’s meticulously designed for doctors ready to make a lasting impact both professionally and personally within our region. With unmatched support, comprehensive resources, and unparalleled opportunities, we empower you to step into a role where your expertise matters and your life flourishes.
Through Connecting the Docs, we are creating a bridge between passionate medical professionals and the communities that need them most. It’s a partnership rooted in the belief that healthcare is at its best when doctors are supported, valued, and connected to their work and their surroundings. Keeping us unique, we felt the need to combine our talent acquisition resources across seven of our health services to work collaboratively to offer opportunities that match the desires of our talent. We have been successful and are continuing to grow and expand this program. We have been thrilled by the response we have had around our initiative and will continue to find ways to build upon what we deliver.
This newsletter is your gateway to insights, stories, and opportunities that can shape your future. Together, we’ll explore how the Loddon Mallee Region is redefining what it means to live and work well, and how you can become part of our medical workforce.
As we build on this newsletter, we will be creating news and articles from our community, profile doctors that live and work here, and describe the lifestyles of those who have taken on one of our opportunities.
Please connect with our team via our website or socials and reach out to us if you have any queries on the opportunities available or have something that you want to share as part of this great initiative.
Regards, Kellie Byron-Gray Chair, Connecting the Doc
