About the organisation:
MBPH employs over 1200 staff and has 172 beds and provides a range of acute services in emergency, maternity, intensive care, rehabilitation, community services, psychiatric in and out patient care, palliative care, renal dialysis and chemotherapy service to the people of North West Victoria. The hospital also provides medical imaging and pathology services.
Is this role for you?
Extensive executive level management experience in a complex public referral or teaching hospital,extensive experience in effectively managing junior and senior medical staff and students, including knowledge of College, AMC and prevocational accreditation requirements. D. Fellowship or Associate Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA) is highly desirable. Demonstrated financial, business and strategic planning skills required.

The CMO plays a pivotal role in ensuring MBPH fulfills its vision and purpose, placing patients at the centre of everything the health service does. As a member of the senior executive team, the CMO reports directly to the CEO and collaborates with six other executives and directorates, contributing to strategic decision_x0002_making, strong governance and organisational leadership.
